Fort Clinch State Park will hold a Memorial Weekend program in honor of the men and women who served in World War II. Visitors can explore military displays, view memorabilia, and learn about the uniforms, weapons, vehicles, and lifestyle of those who were part of the war during the 1940's. The event will take place on May 24, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and May 25, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Bring your family to experience a piece of history! Admission to the park is $5.00 per vehicle at the front gate and $2.00 per person to enter the fort. Children under 6 are free.
